Sheetz Fellows take pride in serving the local, regional, and global community through efforts of servant leadership. Each Fellow completes a minimum of 80 hours of servant leadership throughout the duration of the program. Developing a standard of community involvement aids students in future careers and emphasizes the importance of giving back and helping others.

Servant leadership is one of the biggest components of the Sheetz Fellows Program. It gives students the opportunity to seek out ways to help those in the surrounding community. By helping others, students not only get to make a difference in someone’s life but also have the chance to develop their own character. During the 2025-2026 Academic Year, Fellows provided 2,290 hours of servant leadership hours to our community.
